Open Access and Licensing Policy

"Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis: Geographica et Recreatio" follows an Open Access policy. All articles are posted indefinitely and free of charge immediately after the issue's publication. Full-text real-time access to scientific articles of the journal is presented on the official website of the journal in the Archives section.

This is in line with BOAI's definition of open access. The journal's licensing policy is compatible with the vast majority of open access and archiving policies.

Journal "Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis: Geographica et Recreatio" is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution International CC-BY license. Copyright Policy

Authors publishing in the journal retain full copyright over their scholarly works. By submitting a manuscript to the editorial office, authors grant the journal the right of first publication, as well as a non-exclusive license to edit, technically process, publish, distribute, and archive the work in both print and/or electronic formats.

Published materials may be freely used by third parties, provided that proper citation of the original source is given and that information about the authors and the original publication in the journal is preserved.

Authors have the right, without restrictions, to:

  • use the published article in their own scientific and educational activities;
  • deposit it in institutional repositories or personal websites;
  • include the material in dissertations, monographs, and other scholarly works;
  • distribute the article version in accordance with the open access conditions established by the journal.

Open Data Policy

The journal encourages authors to deposit all data supporting the results of their research in open repositories (institutional, national, or international), in line with FAIR principles. A DOI or other persistent data identifier should be provided in the article metadata and/or in the Data Availability section.
