Abstract

In the context of intense competition and continuous technological development, the article considers artificial intelligence (AI) as a key element for improving efficiency and competitiveness in the restaurant industry. The application of AI in various aspects is analyzed: optimization of service and staff management, personalized services, automation of inventory management, and impact on culinary skills. The aim of the research is to justify the main tools of innovative artificial intelligence technologies necessary for the effective functioning of the restaurant business. Demand forecasting, order automation, staff monitoring, analysis of orders, and guest feedback are considered. Special attention is paid to the impact of AI on innovation in cooking, including the analysis of taste trends and the development of personalized recipes. The use of AI in the restaurant business can significantly increase efficiency, meet the growing demands of consumers, and contribute to the formation of competitive advantages. The potential of AI for automating routine tasks and focusing staff on strategic aspects of activities is emphasized. Special attention is given to the role of AI in personalizing service, from identifying individual consumer preferences to providing dish recommendations. The use of AI for big data analysis and the improvement of inventory management systems, ensuring more efficient logistics and cost minimization, is noted. The role of AI in the creative process of chefs, including the analysis of taste trends and the development of new recipes, is analyzed. The application of AI not only optimizes processes but also stimulates innovations in culinary art. It is emphasized that AI is an important tool for adapting the restaurant business to modern challenges, ensuring efficiency and competitive advantages.
