DIGITAL SOLUTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN TOURISM AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The relevance of the research: in the current conditions of growing environmental challenges and global transformations, the tourism industry needs to implement innovative solutions to ensure sustainable development.The subject of the study was digital technologies as a tool for supporting and developing green tourism in the context of the transition to a circular economy. The purpose of the work was to determine the potential of digital solutions for optimizing the management of tourist flows, increasing environmental efficiency and forming responsible consumption in the tourism sector. The methodological basis of the study is an interdisciplinary approach that combines the analysis of scientific sources, practical cases and the use of content analysis to identify key challenges and form recommendations. As a result of the study, the functional capabilities of such digital tools as Big Data, blockchain, mobile applications and environmental monitoring systems were determined, as well as their impact on the socio- economic development of territories. It was established that both at the international level and in Ukraine, successful digital initiatives in the field of green tourism are being implemented, which indicate the practical effectiveness of integrating technologies into the tourism industry. The results obtained confirm that digital technologies are an important driver of the comprehensive socio-economic and environmental development of territories and local communities. They create conditions for a balanced combination of economic growth, preservation of natural resources and cultural heritage, and also strengthen the social fabric of regions by increasing the participation of local communities in management and decision-making processes. Such an integrated approach contributes to the effective realization of the potential of green tourism in accordance with the principles of the circular economy, ensuring sustainable development at both the local and regional levels. The scope of application of the results is the development of regional strategies for sustainable tourism, digital platforms for tourist communities and environmental initiatives, as well as educational programs on digital literacy. The conclusions emphasize that digitalization contributes not only to increasing the efficiency of tourism management, but also to the formation of environmental awareness, the preservation of natural and cultural heritage and the strengthening of the social capital of local communities.
