The purpose of the journal is to highlight the results of fundamental and applied social and natural-geographic research, geoecology, geoinformatics, geophysics and cartography; research in the field of hotel and restaurant business, tourism and recreation. The journal also publishes original scientific articles on the methodology of geographical research and research in the field of tourism and recreation, geographic education and professional education in tourism, reviews of scientific works and textbooks on the relevant topics are published.

The key objectives of the journal include:

  • dissemination of innovative scientific ideas, theoretical approaches, and applied research in geographical sciences;
  • promotion of academic communication among researchers from Ukraine and other countries;
  • integration of regional research findings into the international scientific discourse;
  • development of methodologies in geographical research, including GIS technologies, spatial analysis, and interdisciplinary methods;
  • facilitation of the practical implementation of research results in territorial planning, natural resource management, and tourism development;
  • support for early-career researchers and provision of opportunities for presenting their research.
